DESCRIPTION:The Central Florida Chapter of the Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) invites GOBA members to join them on Wednesday May 11th from 9:00- 10:00 am for a continuing education course.   The training is part of the BASF grant sponsored by the DPBR and earns 1 CEU (general credit).\n\n\n\n"2016 Energy Rating Index for Residential Energy Code Compliance" \n\nDescription:\n\nDuring the 2016 legislative session\, the Florida Legislature fast tracked Section R406 from the 2015 International Energy Conservation code. Commonly called the ERI path\, this is an additional performance calculations method that can be used effective July 1\, 2016.  This course explains what the ERI is\, how it differs from Section R405\, how it is similar and what needs to be submitted to use this new compliance option.
