DESCRIPTION:Every 3 years the Florida Building Commission adopts updates to the Florida Building Code. The effective date of the next code is December 31\, 2020.\n\n\n\nJoin GOBA Members for a Developers Council Webinar with Orange County's Chief Building Official\, Shane Gerwig\, as he discusses some of the upcoming amendments to Chapter Nine of the Orange County Code.  \n\nSome of the topics to be covered will be:\n\n	Adoption of Florida Building Code\, Seventh Edition\n	\n		Includes Associated and referenced codes\n		Removes references to Sixth Edition\n		Amended local regulations that were brought into Florida Building Code \n	\n	\n	Eases BCBAA meeting and quorum requirements\n	Creates pathways for local technical building code amendments countywide\n	Incorporates state statutory amendments\n	Provides permitting relief on some projects\n	\n		Small residential accessory structures up to 120 square feet\n		Painting\, flooring\, cabinets\, and similar work\n		Storable swimming pools
