Course Description: This course covers the requirements and steps Building Inspectors perform during lintel, columns, and tilt wall inspections as required in the Florida Building Code and the approved set of plans.  
 
Course Learning Objectives
 
Upon completion of the course, participants shall be able to:

• Understand and implement the steps required to do a proper lintel inspection
• Understand and implement the steps required to do a proper formed and poured columns and tilt wall panel inspections
• Describe the requirements for inspecting lintels and tilt wall panels
• Read plans and inspect installation in accordance with approved plans
• Explain the inspection requirements to contractors and builders
