Course Description: This course covers the requirements and steps Building Inspectors perform during exterior frame and lath inspections as required in the Florida Building Code and the approved set of plans.
Course Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants shall be able to:
- Understand and implement the steps required to do a proper exterior frame inspection
- Understand and implement the steps required to do a proper lath inspection
- Describe the requirements for inspecting exterior walls and lath
- Read plans and inspect installation in accordance with approved plans
- Explain the inspection requirements to contractors and builders
