Course Description: This course covers the requirements and steps Building Inspectors perform during residential mechanical inspections as required in the Florida Building Code and the approved set of plans.
Course Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants shall be able to:
- Understand and implement the steps required to do a proper residential mechanical inspection
- Describe the requirements for passing a residential mechanical inspection
- Read plans and inspect installation in accordance with approved plans
- Explain the inspection requirements to contractors and builders
