Robert D. Dietz, Ph.D., is Chief Economist for NAHB, where his responsibilities include forecasts of housing and economic trends, survey research, and home building industry and policy analysis. Prior to joining NAHB in 2005, Robert worked as an economist for the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation. He is a native of Dayton, Ohio and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Ohio State University in 2003.
John ?Chuck? Fowke, a Tampa, Fla.-based custom home builder with 40 years of experience in the home building industry, is NAHB?s 2021 Chairman of the Board. As founder and president of Homes by John C. Fowke Inc., he has built hundreds of luxury homes throughout the Tampa Bay area. Fowke has been active in the NAHB leadership structure at the local, state and national levels throughout his career. A Senior Life Delegate, he has served in the leadership of the Association for more than 20 years.
