Penthouse Storage Solutions, Inc. manufactures ARackAbove and ABikeAbove, patented freestanding garage storage systems designed to put valuable overhead space to work without hanging storage from your home’s roof trusses, ceiling joists, or walls.

All overhead garage storage racks are suspended from the ceiling, which means the rack, the stored items, and every additional box added to it place weight on the home’s structural framing. Installation also requires locating framing members and drilling into the ceiling structure.

ARackAbove takes a completely different approach. It is floor-supported.

The entire storage load is carried through four adjustable aluminum legs directly to the garage floor. The system gently tensions between the floor and ceiling for stability, but the ceiling does not support the stored weight. There is no drilling into roof trusses, ceiling joists, or wall studs and no permanent attachment to the home.
