GOBA ANNOUNCES 2026 NEW PRESIDENT, SENIOR OFFICERS, BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ANNUAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) held its Installation and Yearly Awards Celebration at Ole Red Orlando on Thursday November 6. Members of the Greater Orlando Builders Association came together to celebrate the past years leadership and install its president, officers, and directors for the year 2026.

Dave Schmitt, Dave Schmitt Engineering, has been named President of the Greater Orlando Builders Association for the year 2026.

Andy Stilfield, M/I Homes, will serve as Vice President.

Janeen Swanson, Weathermaster Building Products, will serve as Secretary/Treasurer.

Brock Fanning, of Toll Brothers, will assume the role of Immediate Past President.

Each year we honor two Spike Members who always have GOBA Membership on their minds and recruit year-round. This year’s honorees were Chris Eddowes of Pure Infinity Group, named 2025 Associate Spike of the Year, and John Riddle of Turning Leaf Custom Homes, named 2025 Builder Spike of the Year.

The Young Building Professional of the Year award resulted in a tie between Kendra Jeffrey, Parksite, and Michael Weinstein, OLO Builders.

Janeen Swanson, Weathermaster Building Products, was recognized as Woman of Distinction.

In recognition of exceptional contributions to both the association and the Central Florida community, Tony Hartgrove, ODC Construction, was named 2025 Builder of the Year, and Chris Eddowes, Pure Infinity Group, received the honor of 2025 Associate of the Year.

A special moment of the evening was the induction of Past President Aldo Martin, Bellavista Building Group, into the 2025 Class of the Hall of Fame.

After accepting his role as Past President, Brock Fanning presented Presidential Citations to Marti Majersky, John Miklos, Kayla Samoza, Jennifer Englert-Schmitt, Evie Moreno, Tatianna Souza, and Henry Levine.

The highest level of achievement, the 2025 Eagle Award was presented to Tony Hartsgrove of ODC Construction for his passion, dedication, and exceptional contributions to the association.
